what is a fad diet with short term and long term effects?

I am supposed to find 2 fad diets (I already did the atkins diet)and describe it and list a few short term and long term effects….I have looked and looked but can’t easily find one with effects…please help

    Need to lose weight?

    All of them are basically the same, you loose weight but then as soon as you go off the diet you gain all the weight back. Not eating slows your metabolism down, so what you eat will make you weigh more. A diet that follows this is 2468, (200 calories 1 day, 400 the second, 600 the next, 800 the next, repeat) and it it usually used by anorexics.
